A pretty good starting point you have there. Are your plans for a full resto to original?

A pretty good starting point you have there. Are your plans for a full resto to original? My first plan is to get it running, then, sort the rest of the electrics, such as lights and indicators, possibly get the tank and plastics resprayed at some point But, yes, original, or as close as I can get

Is the Tax disc last time it was on the road?
I have to say it looks a fantastic starting point

Hi and welcome from another Leicestershire SuperDreamer newbie Recently moved to the modern age with a non-running 1980 Superdream. Got it up and running now although its a bit lumpy. Just got the new exhaust studs and gaskets as I think that will improve things dramatically (fitting those when its a bit warmer) - think the previous tinkerer had some bits he didn't need anymore so just did a best fit! Definite quality advice offered on these forums - one of the valuable suggestions was to use www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb250n-1980-a-england_model15816/partslist/ to get hold of part numbers - and Redline Motorcycles in Loughborough have been excellent on supply if the parts are still available from Honda UK. Ideal for me as I can walk there when the parts are in stock I'm sure we'll be competing for the same parts when they show up somewhere on t'internet Good luck with the project Cheers, Phil
