Hi Buster !
Thank for these precious informations !
Yes I activated stock alerts on David Silvers. For CMS, they have now 2 pieces, since today, but 27€ (INCL. VAT) for 1 And I'm checking a french supplier (20€ INCL. VAT). It's written IN STOCK in is system but I asked him to verify so... I cross the fingers.
I read that the 13316-MC0-015 can fit (but it's for 450) and I'm not sure. I was in exchange with johnfcbn44dx, and he told me that you use this one. Right ? Is it fit ? That could be a solution too.

yep thats right, the 450 and 400 both have basically the same crank and the 13316-MCO- 015 bearing just looks a different colour on the coating. as I said I'v compared them side by side and I cant find any difference, I'd be happy enough to use them in one of my 400 engines

Great!
But, if I take the Brown bearings of 450, must I take the yellow of 450 too? Or must I keep the yellow bearing for cb400? I'm only talking about crankshaft bearing of course. Thank you for helping !

Thank you for helping ! The 13316-413-00 3 (DAIDO)13316-413-00 4 (TAIHO )13316-MC0-00 5 ( ? )Last number is showing which manufacturer produced them. all the same component, but as buster says, a different finish on the 005's. and a different model code (middle 3)The 413 yellows should be fine

as Johns said, I'd be quite happy to mix them from different manufacturers

Thank you both!
Yes, I knew the 2 existing manufacturer for some parts of CBN (003/004). But here, the midddle code is different and refers to the motorcycle model. No problem to mix manufacturers, but perhaps it can be better to don't mix parts from different model bikes. Perhaps it would be better to use MC0 (CM450) parts for both brown and yellow bearings.
But, if you have this mix on your motorcycle (buster), I think it's not an issue and that can be mixed.
I have checked some suppliers for 413 and MC0, and availabilty looks the same 😅 (and price too) I activated the new stock alert too. It give me more chance to find something.
Thanks again for your help 😉

please keep the old ones, there are companies out there that can re-coat them, expensive but it may be an option in the future

You did get the crankshaft and balance shaft in the correct places?
I didn't when I built mine, the crank was 180° out

Yes I did. I follow the "Revue Moto Technique" guide, the french equivalent of "Clymer" books. But it was a real pain during 2 hours, to align the markers correctly.
What did your motorcycle when it was 180° out ?

It was brought to my attention by another forum member that I had built it 180° out, so, I had to strip the engine down again, luckily, this was before the engine was put back in the frame
