Got it now ( I hope), the ZB stripe goes on the Tanz Blue tank, and the ZA goes on the Silver and Red Bikes. Hopefully this is correct now...(and all the UK models use the ZA cowl and S.P. stripes)

looking good john, what red paint did you use on that? It a custom colour made up by a reasonably local auto paint dealer, it was done from a swatch which was titled Honda NSR125 Rosso Red... Which may be this one ....

I really like that, thanks john, my thinking is that I might do the 400 kicker in that red (its already on the log book as red) then if it gets a ding or a scratch it should be an easier fix (than candy blue)

Nice colour John. Can I ask what was the colour of the primer you used? I'm thinking of changing the colour of my 400NC from bergognee red, a colour I've never really been keen on.

Nice colour John. Can I ask what was the colour of the primer you used? I'm thinking of changing the colour of my 400NC from bergognee red, a colour I've never really been keen on. As the sp +tank were black, and the tail cowl was silver with repairs, I put a thin light grey coat o/all. As I originally was going to use Milano red which is slightly darker, I did an overall coat of yellow before starting the red. I think on the original set that I will do next year, it would be fine over grey, I may do a thin light grey tie coat though (primer is currently a medium grey). The originals are almost ready to paint as they came, but no close inspection yet.....

Some more parts prep for the white bike today (SKX - CB250NDD look alike hopefully) I have a set of 631 CB250NB/NDB forks but the right case was from a NOS CB250NC/NDD assembly (with 931 Sticker). So the case was swapped out for another NOS case, not just for the sticker, as the case although same part number, has a subtly different finish...The 931 item is slightly more satin/less mirror polished.... So I had also set of 931 forks that were wearing gold finished cases ( the right hand one had a couple of chips on the paintwork ), swapped them out for the right case just removed, and added the recently acquired left NOS 931 case.....(these were for the 400four but it will be fitted with slightly mod-ed NB 631s again)...upgraded some other components with a few NOS bits during the swap...

The project plan was showing a Major Weakness for ignition coils, so a nice package arrived from Japan today.... They are a bit bright, like some of the decorated Japanese Superhawks / Hawks, but look the business technically Y12500ea + post. They did not have the all black version in stock. Though I've now found stock (in black) without the leads and caps. The good original coils I have will firstly be kept for my standard 250NA (NHK) The original coils I have are all working bar one, but I need a cunning plan to butt nice new leads and caps onto them...The original leads are holding on by their fingernails.
