My first thought was you were going to stock your esteemed refrigerator with some of this. But they have closed down! Maybe a trip here is called for? For shame, they look like most worthy beverages. And one must commend Sav Mor Liquors, Lord Beer approves of such humour.

Apologies Sir Duffer and thank thee for rescuing us from the error of our drunken ways...
...I blame Prince Comstar, nothing to do with me.
Anyway, thy work is most glorious, your efforts go above and beyond mere mortals, you do indeed deserve the top seat at thy great hall's table, thy posts are eagerly awaited.

Not even a discount card, Lord Beer hopes thy wrath was mighty towards thy ungrateful previous employer's.

The astute may have noticed clear signs of beer withdrawal in my last post. 🤔

Do not explain thy lack of consumption, for such work requires full and clear concentration, but do not fear, many beer's are being consumed in your honour.

Not even a discount card, Lord Beer hopes thy wrath was mighty towards thy ungrateful previous employer's. A discount card was not needed - the worthy buyers exchanged many samples for resolution of their IT needs - I hope the gods approved of this barter system

Indeed they do Sir Pete, this is the way it should be, entrance to thy great hall is built upon the exchange of goods and services.

Filler now sanded down first with 100 grit then to finish off, 320 dry. The 320 may seem a bit fine to some, but if you leave the swirl marks in from 100 grit then you are relying on the primer to fill them up. Should it ever dry back and sink even a tiny bit, you will again see the swirls in the colour base coat. If that happened after all this work, I guarantee you will always see it, and you will always be pissed off with it. These are the tips you pay for when you send the job away to be professionally done. The tank has been suspended for total access top and bottom, washed off with panel wipe several times. Blown off with the air line and given a light wipe with a tack cloth. Then it was on with acid etch. One basic coat and allowed to dry, which it does very quickly in about 10 minutes, then two better coats with a 5-10 minutes flash off between them. That will be allowed to dry for a couple of hours before it is gently scrubbed with scotch brite (Red), wiped over again with panel wipe, tack cloth, then two pack high build primer. Again one basic coat, then flash off 10 minutes before two or perhaps 3 good coats. that will then have a light "guide coat" of black aerosol (or anything you have that shows up) so it can be used to show up any high or low spots when it is rubbed back later. Point to note- primer does not keep water out, so store the job until the next stage in a clean dry, well ventilated place. Never outside where it could rain on it.
