a few minor little jobs to do here, yesterday I gave the carb a good clean out, it was starting 3rd or 4th kick and I prefer it to start 1st or 2nd so gave the pilot a good blast through with carb cleaner and the airline. then moved onto the indicators, last year they would work at low revs but anything above about 4000rpm they would stop working, I'm thinking bad earth and found the little blighter (crappy aftermarket indicators) and cured that problem too. onto today, the front tyre has always slowly gone down, not dangerously but I have to pump it up every few weeks through summer. its a tubeless avon roadrunner on a tubeless rim, problem is I suspect someones fitted it with washing up liquid so scotchbrite to the tyre (clean that horrible alloy corrosion off) and wire brush then scotchbrite to the rim and then a coat of this stuff then just a case of fitting a new valve

while I had the front caliper off I thought I'd address the dodgy thread. I tried a helicoil type repair on this and for whatever reason I failed miserably. so take two with a proper (read bloody expensive) repair Job sorted, should be ready for its MOT now
