My record has always been six maybe seven at one point (inc restos) ....and wife keen to make that lower number of course. What do wives know?
To be honest I'd be happy at a four absolute maximum on these classics .....that Bonnie that is on the fleet (with black engine) is a longish term flip, but the others I hope are in my life until the very end.....happy with the five.

So true.....but when all said and done we really only need one. Minimum of 2 Backup bike when the one you were planning on going out on does not start The one that may not start, summer weather. The second choice that does start, summer weather. The one that is to admire, and only goes out on nearly dry days where no trace of salt could remain on the road. The one that is not cherished, and is the all-weather (above 0C) stand by. The one that I've had (mostly) since 1982/83 and could not possibly let go. The closer to the ground one that was for the / Daughter / Son-in-Law, but they have never got round to doing the Training Test. 250 250 250 395 408 450 mmm...Thinking So I'm -1 on parking slots already. Two still building, but can stay on the shelves, in-case something happens to the above! 250 250 Sort of justified, but should only really have 5 operational..... The older kid and kid in-law are intending moving soon, I keep pointing out the advantage of some Super-dream stowage space, but they keep thinking I'm joking possibly

My total is 6 but I reckon 4 would suit me better.Automatic scooter as everyday ride.Superdream for classic bimble to a bike meet.Harley or Valkyrie ( when I get it back☺️ ) sunny day ride.Would like a mid sized modern “classic”. 4 gives more room in garage too old for climbing over bikes lol.. Know a bloke on the Nock who’d disagree and shudder at thought of only 6 bikes😂😂

Totally disagree one should be enough for any keen motorcycle enthusiasts, for god sake you can only ride one.

Sir Terry is most correct, multiple bikes indeed, a travesty, but fear not good fellows, for Sir Carl has agreed to donate excess motorcycles to thy great hall's policy of bikes for all, not only will Sir Carl provide a suitable stead upon request, complete with full fuel tanks, he will also allow night-time camping in his grounds, bonfires for cooking local wildlife, an open bar and most importantly will host beer fuelled axe throwing competitions with prizes for those who survive.
Sir Carl may not be aware of the extent of such forthcoming festivities, but I'm sure he won't mind, well done Sir Carl, good sport 👍🍺
*Lord Beer cannot be held responsible for any repercussions from Sir Carl's neighbour's or the local constabulary.
