Interesting thought. If you paid £799 for your Honda 250N in 1981, adjusted for inflation today it would cost approx £3200.

I think you said list was about £6200 so in 1981 it would of cost approx £1585. Funny ole game.

It's comparisons like this that kinda shows up the official line that the likes of the CPI index are more accurate in reflecting costs than the simple average R.P.I. but it does not appear that way. Also is there often a theme that we should be more efficient than then? So we should be getting a new 250 for £3k? (Could nearly get a 250 ninja in Thailand a couple of years ago on a special offer for about £3.3k).
