great video clip...
the one sound piece of safety advice when i passed my motorbike test, was to trust nobody and treat everybody as if they were trying to kill you [ including your friends ] served me well for 30+ years...
how many times have you made eye contact and you know instinctively they will pull out in front of you anyway..

You have to love the hand signals in that video. 'I am about to slow down or stop' as the Highway code said. Don't know if it still does though. When I did my test, the tester was on foot and told me where to go before setting off over a roundabout, up a hill to a quite square. Grass in the middle and the road around it. He had me ride around three times, stopping at the give way lines, then stepped out in front of me for the emergency stop. Back at the test centre, showed me a few road signs and then announced I'd passed. Happy days on a Suzuki A100! Then came the SD...
