On MKW I had an Oxford Fairing - Going to put one on SME In MKW the I had not a front bracket so I made one, I have since managed to get an original Honda/Oxford one The problem is the original will foul the brake pipes This is the bespoke one I made for MKW which was engineered to go around the brake pipes These are them side by side So 1) Is the lower bracket different for a 250N without the brake pipe splitter 2) Have I fitted the brake pipe splitter incorrectly 3) is what I think is a genuine bracket not one

HI. This is how the splitter looks on my Nc and the photo below shows one from a 250 on CMSNL.

No splitter on the 250s, just the clamp on the yolk and fork/muddy, with the push in bushes holding the hose at two places. I'm going to use the later VF400F/VF500F Splitter on some of my 250s and CB400F2, which would probably clear that fairing bracket, but the mounting lugs, would not fit the CB400N splitter brkt...this ìs to allow fitting of a secondary hydraulic front brake light switch...

Fitted mine to SBY without issue (using the said bracket).
I'll try find some pix from my photobucket.

Just found this which also might help in the meantime. Note: Superdream shown on left, CX500 on right.

Should not foul the brake banjos - something not right.
It should sit like it shows in that diagram - with the lower 'stay / prong' pointing down and protruding through the aperture in the lower part of the fairing.

OEM brake splitter should go upwards and the Oxford fairing one should go downwards (in a U) if that makes sense?
One thing I am a bit concerned about.......is your headlight sitting lower than it should?

do the later type yokes have a different splitter/bracket, there is a marginal geometry change in the later yokes

The right hand bottom brake hose which in the pic looks closer to the pinch bolt than the left (I'm getting 38 pixels on the right and 57 pixels on the left banjo approx, centre to centre). Is it just the angle of the photo? The right should be the same or even further inboard allowing for the top hose on the outside? Trying to find a splitter to measure...

do the later type yokes have a different splitter/bracket, there is a marginal geometry change in the later yokes The splitter it's self, seems to be 45127-422-003 all the way up to ND... the stay also, 45129-443-610....
