I've bought and sold a few now. I have the yellow peril (2005 Thruxton) waiting to receive some TLC but I don't think you mean that one.
Was it the one that had some cafe racer bits on it and had the air box removed and was running K&N pods? If it was that one I sold that about 2.5 years ago now.

Around that same time I had a red and black T100 (2006) that had a CDI unit that was totally dead. So I got a replacement and all was fine again. But the CDI on that one with the K&N pods was working okay. I think it was just quite tuned up with a racing coil, airbox removal kit, performance exhaust and rejetting made it shift a bit quicker. They also sound nicer with the air box removed as you get more of an old school induction noise as you accelerate. It will be interesting to hear the Thruxton eventually fire up as that one has also had the airbox removal job done. The Thruxton was also the forerunner of the bigger engine (865cc as opposed to 790cc). It's running these type of pods:

It's running these type of pods: its interesting that it had a racing coil, I was idly musing that there are plenty of uprated cdi's listed for those triumph twins (AC cdi's are quite handy that way) and I'd guess that its the cheapest and probably most effective way of getting a bit more poke out of the engine, wonder if they closed the squish up a bit...
