Back about 1986ish, I acquired, the forks, brakes, clocks, and wheels from a " E" CB400NB, as the chap had "blown his engine up". Discovered this over a group conversation whilst playing a strategy board game with a box of wine as refreshments (before subsequently having a few further refreshments in some of the numerous pubs in Edinburgh old town /Uni area). I was only focused on parts that may be used on my CB400F2, at that time, in hindsight if only I had got the tank and panels as well. I never saw his bike, so don't know if it was black or red, but the parts were only about 3 years old, I'm sure they would have been near perfect. So still have about 20-25% of an "E" I later discovered the F, CB250NA, had tapped holes for the front disc's bolts, and not through bolts, discovered 25 years later! I never had my black CB250NA (back in 83), long enough to do more than an oil cha nge.....
