Always curious when I see kit cars, especially those that are for sale. I was into that scene back in the early 80's and built a Pilgrim Bulldog. I did fancy doing a Lomax but couldn't find a suitable 2CV at a reasonable price. Anyway, take this Lomax, a 2CV based kit. Many kits built back in the day are registered under their base vehicle. So you'd expect this to be also. But a quick check on this one's reg shows it as being a green Ford Granada. A 2.8 as well! Not insured and no tax either. I hope it was trailered there. With my luck the old bill would pull me over, have me well and truly by the b***s and crush the thing.

interesting about the Lomax, makes me wonder if its a local car? I'm thinking Warton banger track is just down the road, must have been countless granada's trashed around there over the years.

My first bike on the road was a CD 175 and here you see one parked next to the bike I thought it looked like ( in the dark if you squinted a bit )
