In fact made my year.Turned up at a ride in to Coventry Transport museum. Not many bikes there but a little BSA caught my eye with an old unit engine with distributor on top of casing,I always look at the registration numbers as my first “proper“ bike was a little 250 Beezer I know still exists with a B40 350 motor in it YAC871H. Heres me sat on the little thing😁 It belongs to guy running the bike section of Coventry Motofest,he’s going to contact me next week to take some photos and do a write up about the bike.I was 16 when I bought it new in 1970 I wrote it off 9 days later and it had to go back to BSA Armoury road factory for repairs,I weighed around 9 stone then ( I’ve put a few pounds on since😂 ) Motor was 10.5-1 compression and I could stand on kickstart and it wouldn’t go down 😬I also met the guy had it before him he had it over 20 years riding it all over Europe and he bought it off a family member.Nice to know one of your bikes has survived especially after me trying to destroy it In it’s early life😂
