Wasn’t the best bike to part ex, Jim was on form with rubbing his chin and telling me that there is no demand for that model. Think he gave me what I paid and it made room for the interceptor so I wasn’t complaining. The on I had was a shaft driven 650 only rode it once and I was urorised at how fast it was.

our lad had a couple of gs550's over the years, a really nice condition white one that he kept for years, that one never felt very good to ride. then he bought (almost stole at what he paid) another from down the road, it looked a bit of a wreck but it rode beautifully it really was a nice bike, fairly heavy little brutes for what they are but nice when theyre right

I can quite understand that as the looks have never really 100% done it for me. Let's face it, it's no oil painting like the Superdream. It's certainly got more interesting with age (to me) though. Parts supply also does not seem that bad over here anyway. Planning to view it later on in the week.
