Quick update it’s all back together apart from plastic side panels, seat cowel, seat and tank, time to start her up. Unfortunately put fuel in carbs and it p###ed out of the connecting tube between the carbs, so carbs off and found o ring had gone hard and distorted 😡, so placed an order for new o rings and now we wait for the postman to deliver 🧐

Lovely work. A word to the wise. Get yer T Cut on the front mudguard and the headlight fairing. Just a chance some git will send the tank back buffed up... No pressure.

Well the VT is finished and can I say a huge THANK YOU to Duffer for helping out with the bodywork, the tank has been sealed on the inside and clear coated on the the outside to give a good shine but still keeping the history and age of the bike. At a later date I asked Duffer to help again, as the fairing was broken, the job her completed is top notch and will last for sure, photos below.

From the first photos posted you may have noticed that I have not fitted the belly pan and air intake plastics which were a Honda authorised aftermarket part for styling. I prefer the bike without them. What are your thoughts?

I never had the extra bits on the VT I had, I like the belly pan, but not the radiator cowls. It's looking lovely
