Went for a little bimble today on my new Meteor 350. Found this on Ebay for £3150 with only 291 miles on the clock at that price I couldn't resist.
First service was due but they wanted £200 to just change the oil and adjust the tappets so I did it myself. The sump guard and engine bars came as a job lot with alloy reservoir covers , alloy oil filler cap and valve caps that look like pistons all for £100.
Tail tidy was already fitted which looks like a TEC one which is nice as I would have done this myself anyway. Many happy miles of smiles to come.

Tipper First Impressions
In a word brilliant. Now I have a tom tom rider which is excellent and of course the tripper does not have all the features of a proper GPS but with the latest software update they seem to have fixed all the little niggles. It will now reconnect itself when you lose mobile signal and if you deviate from your chosen route it will recalculate and a feature which caught me by surprise there is verbal turn by turn directions to a bluetooth headset from the Royal Enfield App. You get a direction arrow of your next turn and a distance countdown to it and it flashes when you are close, roundabouts only have one symbol which was a bit confusing at first because it points to the third exit until you work out that a number appears beside it to indicate which exit you want. Tested it this morning to a cafe I've not visited before but is sure to become a firm favourite

GrahamYou were lucky. When my Interceptor went into the Dealership they charged me £230 and didn’t check the valve clearances at all, although they charged for it. I checked them myself about two weeks later. Three were far too tight, couldn’t get a feeler gauge anywhere near them. The fourth was still tight but at least the gauge could be “forced” into the gap. Incidentally, when delivered during COVID, there was a chip on the tank and the front tyre had 16psi and the rear 15psi. That’s why I will do all my servicing myself. Still love the Interceptor as a bike though.
