You lot are always in such a bloody rush. It takes time.. You can't fit the engine until you fit the front wheel. You can't fit the front wheel until you fit the tyre. You can't fit the tyre until it warms up a bit. You can't warm the front tyre up in the house until the Mrs #*#'s off. Get it ?

Been adding the wiring loom. It all connected like a dream. Everything worked, no problem. Then I woke up and had breakfast. I hate electric. To begin with there were a couple of corroded connections on the fuse box. Fixed em, but no warning lights came on. No indicators. Dead solenoid. The head lights, running light and horn worked though 👍 Did I mention, I hate electric. Next I discovered the oil sensor is buggered. I suspect the same of the neutral sensor. Proved the lights worked by bypassing the sensors. Fiddled with the solenoid wires, turned around, then it set on fire ! Quickly disconnected the power and spent some time replacing burned out wires (Did I mention I hate electric). Back to where I was, tried the solenoid again and it worked 😳. So I am now left with a neutral light issue and no indicators. I also have a question. What does the switch on the clutch lever actually do ? I hate electric.(In case I forgot to say). 👍

I have been doing the same, had a bit more luck than you by the sound of it though.
I think the idea of the clutch switch is the same as a sidestand switch. It prevents the starter from turning if the bike is not in neutral, unless you pull the clutch in.
It will currently be preventing the solenoid from operating at all unless you pull the clutch in. when you replace the neutral switch, it should be fine.
