Bought my first bike from M&S in 1992, an NS125, passed my test and bought an RGV250M, still only 17, still fairly local, but the hill is finished, the good times have gone ๐

Westgate road was brilliant, road full of bike shops, heaving on Saturdays, bought the NS at 16 and the bloke from M&S took it in the van to the place that did the CBT in the car park at Newcastle United footy club on my birthday, 6 hours and off I went, passed my test 6 months later then back to M&S for the RGV, used to love the nutters wheeling up and down the hill.

I bought my first bike from Ken Priestleyโs and rode off on it Had never ridden a bike before 1980 No CBT in the day

Just looking back at this and looking for pictures from the hill
A visit from Big Yin in 1980 Unfortunately today not much remains, and looks like this The passage of time is inevitable, but in some instances extremely sad, does everything need to be sanitised and made safe and politically correct to save us from ourselves, if so I don't subscribe, *sod off and leave me alone, I know what I'm doing and if I f**k up so be it* *this shall be entered into the book of Beerhalla hence forth ๐บ
