Having rebuilt my bike a few years years ago now and been lucky enough to source a great deal of original parts, many thanks to forum members, the one part which I have been unable to source is the clock surround, the one on the bike is ok but the lettering is faded and as usual the blue high beam is dulled to such an extent it doesn't light up, I can buy a decal to replace the lettering, but this doesn't solve the lack of high beam indication, so as a last resort I ask that any forum member that has a few spares kicking around or knows of one for sale to please let me know, other than that I'm out of ideas, it's a minor detail that not people would notice, but it would be nice to have it sorted π pic below pinched from the NOS section.

Clock surround has arrived, in it's original bag with the ticket, well chuffed, seems a shame to fit it, but fit it I shall, no good sitting in a bag, many thanks to BritPete for finding it π

I almost don't want to, but I will, it has a job to do, bit like restoring a bike and not using it, I understand people doing that but I'm not a fan of that sort if thing, it seems such a waste, all my bikes to me have a personality and each has a desire to used as intended, I've not used the 92 blade this year and I feel bad about it, hence the winter refresh, might sound odd to a lot of people to think of a machine in such a way, but my bikes mean a lot to me and I treat them with the respect they deserve and they deserve to be ridden. Hmmm went slightly off topic there, apologies π

Took the clocks off to check them over, change the bulbs etc
Then fitted the new surround
And on the bike
Behold a blue light
Not as bright as I would like, but it ain't getting any better than that, I'm calling that a win. Never before has a post contained so many pictures of a set of clocks, indulge me, I've waited years for this π

Hmmm, it's what came with the bike, I always thought my knob was original, have I been going around with a fake knob all these years π€
