Came home yesterday and discovered the wife had got this erected in the lounge. Does anyone else think it's just a tad too early? Not in the Chrimbo spirit as yet....not at all.

Quite agree Nick, far too early but having said that, my wife has told me that we are putting ours up this weekend! The thing I dislike most is that when all the decorations come down in early January, it is all so dull and dreary in a dark and cheerless month.
Not too keen on December as I owned a large Post Office for 10 years and it was usually chaotic all month up until Christmas Eve. We sold in November 5 years ago and and it was such a big relief and indeed, we went on a Caribbean cruise over Christmas to celebrate. Paul.
ps nice tree by the way.

Way too early in my Bah Humbug opinion.Week before Christmas Mrs.DFS puts tree up and next door neighbour puts flashing lights up for us.Might as well leave tree etc. up all year if you put it up now.I personaly believe Christmas should be held every 4 years like the Olympics and World Cup đđđ

Itâs a bit early for us but if it makes people happy, especially with all whatâs going on at the moment, itâs understandable

I have known some friends in Blightly put them up a month ago.....utter madness IMHO. I do understand the desire to get 2020 out of the way very quickly but 'It don't work like that'.... The quicker you may wish this year to end, the more likely this madness is to drag on and taint into 2021 too.

Well being a âmiserable barstewardâ I honestly do not do Christmas shopping so hopefully Iâll go another year without listening to Noddy/Wizard/Wham and the bleeding Pogues etc.etc. Double Bah Humbug to everyone lol. I honestly do like Christmas Day but not the build up from September, and donât mention fâ*c#ing fireworks
