Carbs have also been cleaned, adjusted and ready to now go back on.....this will be my next update I think, seeing if she runs good.
Oil and filter have been changed in preparation.

No I haven’t as yet……but will soon.
i took all the jets out and soaked them in carb cleaner for a week. And also the carb bodies I blasted with carb cleaner for over a week. All jets now clear. We’ll see what happens. They may need to go into a u/s bath if all is not well. I’m certainly going to get one soon, they are so cheap it’s rude not to.

Fuel crossover pipe leaking like a complete b*tch on the LHS... What adds to the fun is that Triumph do not list this O ring as a 'part', in fact that whole tube is not shown on any of the manufacturer schematics......complete joy. The power of the internet will no doubt solve this (I hope)......

daft as this may sound it might be worth taking the o rings to a japanese car dealer and asking at the parts desk

daft as this may sound it might be worth taking the o rings to a japanese car dealer and asking at the parts desk Thanks Paul, great suggestion. I guess I could of gone many ways but I ended up finding the info (I think) last night here. Seems the O-Ring in these carbs in a Jap industry standard at 1.9mm x 5.8mm. (Below is a quote from a web page I found on the subject) "I have went down the rabbit hole!! I looked at the number and it is close but a little off but if it works I'm going to grab it!
So this is what I have discovered from thsi awesome website www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=368_1965_1972
The Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS B 2401) lists 194 sizes of O-rings which are unique to Japan's automotive and manufacturing industries. JIS O-Rings consist of 4 series of sizes for different applications. These series include; P series for dynamic sealing applications, G series for fixed or static applications, S series for special sizes, and V series for vacuum flange applications.
These are the ones that are the specs I measured from the one good one I have I am guessing we should use the fluorocarbon one since it is for gas. I am sure the 5.5mm would work but the 5.8 mm should be the correct one.
1.9mm X 5.8mm (NBR) Buna-N 90 Duro Metric O-Ring (JIS P6-N90)
1.9mm X 5.8mm (NBR) Buna-N 70 Duro Metric O-Ring (JIS P6)
1.5mm X 5.5mm (NBR) Buna-N 70 Duro Metric O-Ring (JIS S6)
1.9mm X 5.8mm V75 Fluorocarbon FKM O-Rings 75-80 Durometer Black (JIS P6-V75) Chemical Resistant
For the fuel air mixture screw it looks like in my opinion, since they are so close in size when you look at them,
1.9mm X 2.8mm V75 Fluorocarbon FKM O-Rings 75-80 Durometer Black (JIS P3-V75) or
1.5mm X 2.5mm V75 Fluorocarbon FKM O-Rings 75-80 Durometer Black (JIS S3-V75)"

"Whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable, than my own meandering experience, I will dispense this advice now" (Baz Luhrmann 'Sunscreen' *class of '99) Guys.......do NOT leave this sh*tty fuel in your bikes if not using for any length of time......this is an ORDER. That's not rust in picture two......it is varnishy GOO. I'm fully convinced this is E10 petrol which you are now being assaulted with back in the homeland.
