Would anyone touch a 90k mile year 2000 Kawasaki W650 (well maintained with service records etc) for around 1200 UK pounds? Original owner selling. Bike currently running great. Thoughts appreciated.

No, in California about 200 miles from where I live. I converted it to pounds just so members could gauge better. It's up at $1800 but apparently there is some 'movement'.

Yes if Keeper No if Seller And therein lies the problem. The wife thinks none of them are keepers. Shame this pandemic is hampering sales. Ah well.

I spose it depends on the service records as to whether or not I would personally buy it. Any more info on that? That is a heck of a lot of miles for a m/cycle but these Jap engines can do it, but only with the right maintenance.

The more I look at it the more I like it - Character and Patina
If you think 90,000 miles over 20 years is 4,500 miles per year, less than 100 miles per week

I must confess I really like the look of those W650's and hearing that one has got to 90,000 miles puts any doubts about the cam drive system to bed

Agreed it is an attractive looking bike, I have always liked the look of them.
I think Triumph missed a trick with the Bonneville not fitting a kick start and that bevel drive on the side looks beautiful, quite reminiscent of the old Ducati Scramblers.
If I had not have recently got the Black Bonnie project I think I would have gone for it. If it's still available in a month or so I still might go for it, I do have the guys details saved.

On this vein, I wonder what the highest mileage ever achieved on a Superdream is, without needing a tear down.
