This was what the shop probably looked like in 1970 when my dad bought a C50 Reg WNL 12J In the early 80s I bought my first 2 motorcycles from there This is the shop from the other side, you can just see it, the Cinema (I saw Where Eagles Dare there when it was released) is now a Wetherspoons Downloaded this from Google Street View but they do not deal Honda anymore - I suspect the street view is 10 years out of date at least When Mr Priestly retired in the 80's the son of a local haulier bought it and it became Fergusons Motors and Cycles - they bought in push bikes The shop seems heavily cycles now with Motorcycles being Sinis and Morini and the like These are inside shots from their website At least it has managed to survive but nothing from the 60s and 70s and 80s

The place in London where SBY came from I think is still going. It’s called Slocombes.
Also Fowler’s where my deluxe came from are too.

I had a Kawasaki GT550 that came from there some years ago. In fact, I think I bought it from a guy in Leamington or Nuneaton. Story about that - him and his brother bought two identical bikes off the shop floor from Frettons brand new, H491GAC and H492GAC. One was used and the one I bought (492) had been sitting around unused - when I bought it, it had not even covered 2k miles.
