Thanks lads, I appreciate all the kind words! I was tempted briefly but really glad I didn’t part with NNR. I’m looking forward to the drier, warmer weather ( aren’t we all) when I can get her out and about. There’s no doubting that finding and restoring your first bike is very special, especially such circumstances. That said there are many great Superdream restorations going on all over and I’m just pleased that there’s still interest in the old SD. As has been said before, they weren’t particularly good at anything but they weren’t particularly bad either they just did what they were asked to do and for a 17 year old back in the day, they offered big bike looks and acceptable performance for a novice rider. I know many of us moved on to bigger, faster bikes when the novelty wore off but they still occupy a special place in my biking history and I consider myself extremely lucky to have found my original bike. It goes to show that they are out there, but it helps if Lady Luck puts in an appearance...

Next year as in 2022 ?
