Evening
What would you guys recommend for after market silencers? Nothing wrong with the oems, but I'd like a little bit more thump to the sound track.

Check out the link below You'll be spoilt for choice  I've got a pair of their shorty silencers on I had to calm them down a bit though as I thought they were too loud they sound great now though www.classicbikeshop.co.uk/  the kick-ups came from them too (they are actually a Triumph item but they fit just nicely ) |

I've used the original exhaust mounts on mine with a small extention to get them where I wanted them but mines a CM so different mounts to the SD but the shorty silencers came with chromed universal mounts which I used to fit them to my old SD .The picture shows the shorty silencers fitted with link pipes to the original collector box and to calm them down I replaced the baffles in the silencer with mutes (also from classic bikes and the link pipes too) you can see the chromed mount running from the silencer to the rear foot peg mount .I've had the same set about six years now and on two bikes and the chrome is still good  |
