I ran this on "The other side" and thought I should mention it here too. There have been a few moans that there are no reasonably priced and original looking new front mudguards out there, which is true. Looks like eighty quid for a second hand square one, plus postage, is about all there is. I have just picked up four new Suzuki versions that I need for other projects. They need to be modified and that is not for everyone, so I have decided to offer a couple for sale all done. I weld on longer brackets then paint them. You can drill em, as you know how high you want it over the tyre. I use rubber bungs to fix the holes not needed, add a cable guide, and underseal with black waxoil. This is the result which I can supply for £65. Collect from Nantwich or post at cost, which you need to cover. I think a mud flap would finish the job off nicely. This is the look. Not original, but not the same money. I think it looks quite close though.
