I mentioned to John during the meet that I have bought gloss black paint in Home Bargains. It's £1.99 for a 400ml tin and they do gloss black, matt black, gloss white, clear lacquer, grey primer and silver wheel. I've only used it on bits that I've welded and it seems durable for that. I haven't tested it with petrol yet but it says petrol resistant on the tin! I also picked this oil up in Tesco clearance for £4 a few weeks ago. The intention of that is to put it into the Black Pig ready to give it a start.

Had a look at the website on the tin and they do red and also a yellow primer. Says to phone them and they'll tell you who to buy it from. To order from them direct, they have a £600 minimum order value but you don't need to be a busines.
The red may be similar to Helios red from the picture they have posted.
