hello
only just bought the bike, and it is in need of a good service...
i filled the bike up when i bought it, but she coughed and spluttered at 101 miles, so switched to reserve and pottered on home
the right-hand downpipe is blowing quite badly now [ parts on their way ] but was curios what other people get to the gallon
at no point was she being thrashed, just pottering along at a steady 40mph
thanks richard

I get about 50mpg out of my 400cc when I did a trip up to Leeds.
Going up the A1 just over 50mph.
Never done any mileage on my 250cc sorry.

Back in the 80s I reckoned I was getting 64mpg from my black CB250NA....

I’ve owned my bike nearly 11 years and average 50 - 55 mpg although I recently fitted a set of Dunstall Replica silencers and the mpg seems to have gone up say 55 - 60 mpg I believe , they’re a tad loud and I feel like a hooligan on my bike 🤟🤟 but love the old workhorse

hello
my wee 250n would appear to be under par as far as mpg goes, but once i work though the various issues/servicing i will have a better idea on what to expect from the old girl...
thanks richard
