as the 250n is still running poorly, i dont venture far from home..but dounreay nuclear power station is a few miles down the road..
my theory was to park it near the reactor and see if it would grow an extra few cylinders [ that didnt soot up ] but alas..no joy..
thanks richard

Lovely bit of the world, Orkney too.
Our trip on the ferry to Orkney was really rough as soon as we left the harbour, even my seadog mate was sick, but not me !
Orkney is lovely, as was the Car ride to ullapool. The whisky we had in Orkney went down like milk, unlike the rubbish in the rest of the UK, brake fluid is better tasting !I wanted to bring home a souvener from orkney, the Conrod roped to the wall in Orkney capital, the power station visit was very interesting, to me at least. Not many petrol stations up there...you need a bigger fuel tank.😊

hello
i went to Orkney a few weeks before i bought the superdream, so went as a foot passenger [ as off 2021 £40.40 return ticket as a foot passenger sailing from scrabster - double that with a motorcycle ] however i didn't much care for Kirkwall, aside from the cathedral and harbour, i really liked Stromness though, but funds allowing i will return next year with the bike and explore orkney properly
dounraey has had a few " mishaps " since it was commissioned in 1958 and will leave its mark environmentally for many many years to come, Wikipedia has all the information for those that have a passing interest
thanks richard
