Hi fellas, just wanted to ask which way do I rotate the mixture screws to go richer please? (more fuel, less air). It’s running lean at the moment, but not to the point where it’s burning the spark plugs. Also is there an ideal setting? I have standard headers, a new collector box and a new pair of Dunstall style pipes. What’s the best way to set up the mixture because at the moment I’m just making small adjustments then taking it out for a decent ride? That equates to just one adjustment per week 😂😂!! Thanks 👍

must be catching, everyones having mixture issues today screws go in/tighter to richen the mixture. my way is to start from factory settings in the haynes manual then gently tweak from there. tiny adjustments can have quite significant effects, if not much seems to be happening then its worth looking to see if all the components are there. on top of the screw should be a tiny washer (easily lost, dont be remotely surprised if one or both are missing) and on top of that should be a tiny o ring, that has a habit of getting trapped up inside the thread. a nice brown tinge to the plugs after a few town miles would be where I would aim for but always safer to be slightly (towards black) than lean (white) hope that little lot helps

hello
light tan or light grey is the expected norm, so not withstanding my laptop screen colour rendering...it looks ok to me
thanks richard
