When I bought the bike back in October last year, it was in a very good condition to start with but there were a few things to do. After speaking to a few guys, Dave 'Firestorm' (its his old bike) and a recommendation by 'Lord Beer', I contacted Duffer (Steve) and we discussed a timeline for the proposed repainting in the warmer weather. The Tank, Side Panels and rear Tailpiece were sent off a couple of months ago to Steve who spent a fair bit of his time preparing/repainting them in their original Tanzanite Blue. He also applied the decal kit that I had supplied via 'Imageworks". He then went above, (literally), and beyond and flew the freshly painted bits up to my local airfield for my collection. Truly impressed and a thoroughly nice guy. Thanks again. During the time that the tank etc were away, I had the handlebars and front original mudguard rechromed (after first buying what i thought was an original good condition mudguard which sadly turned out to be for a CX500) as well as buying a few really good condition bits such as original indicator lenses, Headlight Brackets (ears) and a brand new correct model Brake Master Cylinder complete kit. Expensive but worth it. Still a couple of bits to do but will wait until winter time as I want to enjoy the bike on a few sunny days beforehand. Thank you for all the advice that you guys have given me so far, I certainly wouldn't be this far with the bike if it wasn't for you guys.

No donβt get it dirty. Put it in your glass fronted wine store and set the display lights correctly.

Get photos and pretty apt that I spent today filing up and down Ullswater on that very boat........Lady Of The Lake (1877).
Really appreciate the comments guys, bike looks good but still not perfect, as Steve says, always something to do. This all came together so far because of the very nice people on this forum, makes it a great place to be. Thank you.
