My newly acquired Beeza. Plenty of plans for this one. More photos from the past few days in a bit.

You're not going mad. Yes the tank badges did change between some of the shots.

finally developed some taste and got a green one It is a lovely bike Buster in very original condition.Look better in black, just my thoughts as Thunderbolts were usualy Black in the day.I declined the kind offer of riding it due to bit of sciatica 🥹 I would have loved a ride on it,another day maybe😁.Never owned an A65 I always favoured the A10.

All the A10s I owned had automatic advanced magnetos.A65s had serious crankshaft/bearing issues which put me off owning one and becoming a confirmed Triumph devotee😁

A great day, good full English (thanks Eddie) to start with, then a ride to Hoar Park, then some great lanes to meet Nick. Dave struggled on the Valverie , I noticed him going into a ditch at one point the corner was too tight. BSA was lovely condition. I’m Just to young to appreciate old iron 🤣😜

1970 Thunderbolt was also available in a moon landing grey and also dark met red. But most of those went to the USA and as Dave says, most of th TB esp in UK were black. And that’s how it will be. Seat already off to be recovered in an authentic fashion.
Turn signals have been retro fitted at some point…..practical, but do I keep them on? Hmmm

I reckon the seat looked right ie cover being plain, think it had BSA in gold on back.Indicators a personal thing 😁 I’d stick some mirrors on it though

Seat is starting to tear after 52 years DFS hence my heavy hearted decision to get it recovered. I have someone over in LA who does great original looking covers. Seat already off and in my case.
