doubt it, he'd be asking silly money if it was a myford, its actually only a baby 12" between centres. I'd prefer a myford (or a southbend) but this is cheap and just down the road...

Wish I’d kept my Myford instead of replacing it with the Warco now in me garage.Myfords are quality small lathes

Wish I’d kept my Myford instead of replacing it with the Warco now in me garage.Myfords are quality small lathes never actually used a myford, but heard lots of good things about them, problem is the ones you want (with loads of tooling etc) always fetch serious money. used to work nights at an engineering/injection moulding firm and they had a southbend on a sort of long term loan/storage deal, that was a lovely lathe to use, did all sorts of jobs on it...

Not at all,Warco good lathe to have in the garage.Chinese built but Warco have a good spares back up and are very helpful if you have any problems.I bought mine from a VMCC member and he bought it new and rarely used it I got it at bargain price😁 but had to buy a new motor for it,handy for doing most things.Wish I’d kept the Myford though as it was a lot smaller and could do most things on it but spindle diameter restricted anything bigish but lot more compact the Warco takes space of a bike in the garage😁
