Seller write up:
This is a very rare low mileage Honda CB400N Superdream with under 1100 miles (1091)
First registered in June 1985 it was purchased as an ex demo from The Honda Centre Belfast in February 1986 (see receipt and original bill of sale) and added to a personal collection of bikes. I acquired the bike via my authorised branded motorcycle dealer 3/4 years ago after the collection had been sold to them by the family of the original owner. This can be verified on request
Bike was serviced by my Motorcycle dealer and a new battery, fuel filter and Carb repair kit from David Silver Spares was fitted. Bike was running perfectly with no issues. Please note that I would recommend a basic service as it has not been started in 12 months
The Honda Style bodykit is quite unique in that from research I'm told it was a bit of a sales disaster and little or none are known to have survived the last 4 decades. Here we have an excellent albeit acquired taste of retro 80s styling. See Brochure pic for more info. I have never seen another surviving example. I was contacted in 2020 to ask if I would consider allowing a mould of the plastics to be made for interested parties via a Honda Owners Group but after some thought I respectfully declined
Both original keys are present and green log book as pictured. Original owner did not apply for a V5C. Should you wish to actually ride the bike you will need to send off a V765 and apply for an MOT. I decided not to ride the bike and pre-Covid planned to show it at regional events instead. This has not happened and bike is in dry storage. I felt with such low mileage it was a very rare example and opted not to put in on the road
I have the Honda Style brochure which came with the bike in 1985 which with all receipts etc will go to the new owner. Bike has been independently valued and this reflects the asking price. Please note the bike is in County Antrim and I do not currently have the ability to deliver it to mainland UK. There are however various reputable companies doing this across the UK
Obviously I am more than happy to send more photographs on request. A holding deposit is payable on purchase and bank transfer on collection. You are welcome to arrange for an independent viewer to come and see the bike

I think £4.5k is within reason - or am I wrong

Agreed I think a great price considering it’s also or best offer.
Rocking horse poop is more common.

Wondering what factory colour RR is underneath the bodykit? Honda discontinued silver on the 400N from 1981 (UK models) as we all know due to safety concerns and the need to try and flog so called newer and ahem faster models. So it can't be silver. My bet will be met red (third slowest after blue then black).
