I could’ve sworn the bike had half a tank when I parked it after a few rides last week. Luckily the wife was not too far away and was able to take me to the garage and get some fuel….annoying the nearest garage was about 20 mins away though. That was me parking it up a bit more over from the traffic on the road. She couldn’t help but take the p*ss a bit. Bike was still there when she dropped me back. Bonus.

Mine was going to school one morning to do one of my A level maths papers! We lived in Charlbury and school was in Chipping Norton so it was on the country road between. Luckily for me, my mate Dobbin came past on his CG125. I hopped on the back for a lift and we both got the exam done. Then had to go to the phone box to phone my mum to bring the petrol can so I could get fuel in town. No petrol station in Charlbury, but more pubs than shops!

Couple months ago riding my Valkyrie to meet CTB I planned to fill up on way but A5 closed had to go on Motorway, thought I’d make it but started spluttering approaching an exit, stopped on the slope leading to roundabout filling the carbs up,no fuel stations nearby kept stopping elevating bike on kerbs but finaly conked out outside a house I saw a bike pull into and a builder working on the house gave me few litres he had in a can to get me to filling station must have been my lucky day😂😂
