H&H recently (7th December) held a Classic Motorcycle auction at Birmingham and I was very curious to see what NOS 1998-2000 bikes would sell for. Yes in the auction was a selection of NOS Suzuki's.
This is the catalogue decription:
"This new old stock "-----", was part of a large, franchised dealer's stock who upon closure in 2000 took everything home and mothballed them in his house. The bike is just how it would have been when taken out of it's packing case all those years ago and displayed in the shop awaiting sale. This time warp machine has never run, used or registered and comes supplied with a VMCC dating letter, a letter from Suzuki GB confirming duty paid and even its original Suzuki Warranty Card. A unique opportunity to acquire a "brand new" 24 year old bike."
Bikes offered for sale as NOS were as follows:
Circa 2000 Suzuki GSF600SW red still in its box and crate.
Circa 1990 Yamaha XTZ750 Super Tenere Black
Circa 1998 Susuki GSF600W red
Circa 1996 Suzuki GSXR750T Black and Gold
Circa 1999 Suzuki GSK750FW Green
Circa 1998 Suzuki XF650V Freewind red and green still in its box and crate.
Circa 1991 Yamaha XTZ660 Tenere Blue
Circa 1997 GSXR600V Blue and White
Circa 1998 Suzuki GSF600V Blue
Circa 1999 Susuki GSF600W Black still in its box and crate.
Circa 1994 MZ Scorpion Tour 660 Green
Circa 1999 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa blue and silver
Circa 1997 Suzuki GSF600S red
Circa 1997 Suzuki TL1000SV Black
Circa 1995 Suzuki VS1400GLPS Blue
So out of curiosity I went to the auction to see what such NOS bikes would sell for.
All will be revealed but it may be interesting to hear what you guys think they sold for?
