Royal Enfield are certainly making decent bikes these days as for my Hunter having covered a little 900 miles in 3 months I’m very impressed , a very nippy bike , comfy , economic and looks great I love the thing , it’s a great stable mate along with the Superdream , I’ve not given it the beans yet but I’m confident it would hit 70 easily though happier around 60 - 65 mph I was out 3 hours on it yesterday scouting the Derbyshire Meet Route and was not uncomfortable at all the bikes got a very low seat height which suits me fine at 5’6” and it just sips fuel very economic 90mpg with ease and to top it off the exhaust note is a joy , raspy and pops along just lovely , can’t knock it so far , when I get on my Superdream I feel like a hooligan but hey it is silver and it feels like the twin cylinder rev happy beast is a flying machine or maybe a silver dream machine ( c/w rusty battle scars of 41 years of road munching )

According to reports the Hunter will hit an indicated 82 MPH when fully run in as it does'nt share the same mapping as the Meteor and the Classic and is also the lightest of the three with the Classic being the heaviest ,there's a fourth coming too with a Bullet version on the way
