Took my RE in for its second (and last) service today - will do myself from now on They loaned me this, a Susie SV650 Verdict Riding position - GOOD Performance - EXCELLENT Acceleration - FANTASTIC Comfort - POOR - The seat was like sitting on a lump of concrete Look - NOT MY THING Did about 80 miles on all types of road and also heavy stationary traffic, enjoyed it but getting back on my RE was like sitting in you favourite armchair Wonder if I can get the V6 engine in my Interceptor Frame

I quite like that, it would look really nice with that daft bit that the number plates on got rid of, the trellis frame and the fact it has a normal headlight make it look like a bike but a nice one. shame about the comfort, could try riding faster, then you'd be too occupied to notice

Many years ago, I had a suzuki SV650s, the half faired version, I purchased the fairing lowers, to make it fully faired
Nice bike to ride, with the pokey V twin engine, plenty of low down grunt, but, not overly fast at top end, was told that they were a great wheelie bike, due to the torque in the lower rev range
My main issue with it was the vibes through the foot pegs, I once rode it from Leicester to North Devon, couple of stops on the way down, couldn't stand up when I got there, with the tingling in my feet
Really wasn't looking forward to the ride home at the end of the holiday

I bought a new SV1000 in 2004 found it a disappointing bike compared to a VTR 1000 I’d owned,I expected it to be like a TL900 S but it wasn’t plus it came with shit Suzuki quality/warranty only kept it 12 months and traded for a 1 litre Fireblade😁
