I was surprised to find that one of my tanks had gone very rusty inside, in the past I have used nuts and bolts together with water to shake about inside the tank to try and remove the rust. However I had been made aware of a process using electrolysis that looked amazing. You can find videos on YouTube but this is what I found out in my process. All you need is some sodium carbonate (baking powder) steel or iron rod, piece of wood or plastic, battery charger and clean water. Sodium Carbonate I used this only cost £2 a box or on offer as I purchased 2 for £3.60 😃
Mix the powder in a bucket with clean water, I used hot water, not sure why. Then pour in the tank until full. I used a length of threaded steel passed through wood to suspend in the water. Make sure the steel rod isn’t touching the tank. Place the battery leads, positive on the iron bar and negative on the tank. Leave it overnight or 8 hours.

Farmers eh !
How did the alloy fuel tap get on ?
Molasis is also good, as are some chemicals not freely available in UK.
Tesco double strength no added sugar lemon squash is also good but works out quite expensive even when on bogof.
