so can a cb450sc frame be converted to something approaching a hawk/superdream hybrid? well having been round it with a tape measure its looking like yes. there are problems to overcome, the rear subframe is narrower so the nighthawk airbox is the only option, ditto the plastic mudguard behind it (got both of those) the seat brackets that lock in with the levers will have to be narrowed in (I'll use a pattern seat that came on my 400 kicker) the rear inner mudguard (mid piece) will need a bit cutting out (again got a pattern one that I'll use for that). tank rear mount looks to be in the right place (might need raising a bit) front tank mount looks simple enough to reinstate as honda kindly left holes in the right spot. theres bound to be other stuff but it seems promising so far... oh and a few lugs and clips to cut off the only other issue so far is a small hole in the frame but that should be an easy enough repair

Love it 👍 Can it have a turbo ? Can it? Please? bit tricky, the SD crank doesn't appear to lend itself to being pinned. the compression could be lowered with a copper base gasket (thats cheating though, forged pistons would be far better) then its just a case of finding a turbo small enough to suit the engine... might be a bit ambitious, how about a ram air system instead? I reckon that could be done. similar sort of (vaguely) principle as this
