You should be able to send two tanks using Parcelforce 24 for under a tenner with a post office drop off. More convenient than waiting for them to collect or drop off at their depot. You get £60 insurance in that price too. I send quite a bit out that way and have never had a problem. I book mine here www.parcelmonkey.co.uk

From the book of Lord Beer, chapter 8 verse 5....
And lo, Lord Beer did rise from thy great table, sat down his most holy glass of ale and spoke to the assembled masses.
" brethren, thou shalt not apply decals and other such parts before thy drinking session, for it is written that such endeavours will surely end in wonky disappointment, and thy risks my wrath and eternal banishment from thy great kingdom"
And the masses listened to thy wise words and set down there tools and paint and decals and rejoiced in late night beverages....
....apart from Bob... and so as per the Lord Beers most holy words, Bob was indeed banished and now drinks shandy alone and sells shite on ebay, a warning for all, amen.

Most of the tanks I have lying around have some sort of issue, is it the later tank you need? CB250NDB? I noticed this one on German Gumtree, BUT the advert has been up for a long time. I suspect it has been sold and they just have not taken the advert down. .... www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/tank-fuer-honda-cb-250-400-n-t-weitere-ersatzteile/1352315766-306-13520I have a Black NDB tank that has a small vertical fracture that would be best welded up. it is not filler free but not a substantial amount (that I remember). I could free up that one as it will be some time before I get round to repairing it. It's main use for now is when I get my decals back from the print shop, is to compare that tanks original (substantially touched up) decals. It did stand for two weeks on my CB400NC (last year?? lost track), before a slight bit of paint bubbled, at the 12mm vertical fracture on the port aft outer face. Can't remember if Duffer has access to a welder? If of interest, I'll take some pics Sunday. This is my Tanz blue set, on pause, but it did/does have some issues, it had some knocks on the bottom flange, which I tested for leaks with some white spirit, but did not fill the tank, so I might paint it with Tapox epoxy inside before use, in case a full head of fuel finds a path. The second was the switch cluster had dented the the right side, so I over filled and put protection film over, for a later sand back and have a go at blending in. The set has a forward to aft gradient, the tank is slightly darker than the original side panels and the tail cowl is slightly lighter (mainly because I used Honda Blade silver rather than a courser silver under the blue...) But... Other wise not to bad...

More than good enough as a strip and repaint is the plan. Blending is a real headache so the plan is to paint up two full sets in Tanzanite blue, one for Lord Beer and the other for my next project bike. Should have a bit of paint left over for touch up or stone chips.

I'll get pics of the NDB black tank option in the morning, no light in the hut, so I would probably trip over something if I go out just now

Sir John, are you willing to part with the blue tank, and if so what would you take for it?

Sorry, but I want to keep my Tanz Blue set at the moment. I've not enough completed sets, to be sure to cover my build plans. That Tank that Buster has looks quite good though , more sound than my black tank probably.
