And to put that into some kind of perspective it would have currently bought this (and potentially a bit more):

You're in luck. Just seen some in Aldi, Β£3.99 each. π€£π€£π€ͺ And then I woke up ! I recon one shocker and a fluid refill equals a Bonneville. Close enough. I rest my case.

I did call the USA equivalent of Halfords (Autozone) first.
And pictured myself looking like an awkward Rodney Trotter from a 1983 episode of OFAH.
(Canned laughter naturally ensued).

An exciting Alfa update, be it a turbo upgrade?, perhaps a beer fridge wired up in the boot?, laser beam headlights? Nope, nope and nope, for shame, all good ideas. No, it's a new infotainment system thingy, how exciting. The old one was ok, but no fancy modern gadgets, this new one has, wait for it, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth that's works, and other pointless features that I'll be fooked if I know what what they do π€ But it looks cool and the Google assistant bint knows the location of all off licences in the area, my life is complete.... ....until I get bored again, is winter not done yet, here's some dark photos of my genius π

Well chaps, it's been one year of the Alfa on the road, so what's gone wrong with it, well nothing, not a thing, how boring, but this a good thing, more time to spend on the bikes, first off service the 1000, new tyres (how much!!!! Β£340 for a set of Bridgestone S22's π³), strip and clean brakes and a good once over, standard exhaust fitting for MOT. Next up the Superdream, nowt wrong with that, so just a quick clean, So what about the 900, nope that checks out all ok as well, bloody hell, I'm wanting something to do ffs. But wait, the old man's bike, surely that needs some fettling π€.... ...nope it's good as well π€¨ Bloody hell, so that's it then, the cars good, as are the bikes, guess I'll just have a beer instead then, a terrible situation π

If you are bored, I could always find something for you to do. Some of the bikes I have occasionally need a tiny little bit of work πππ»πΊ

Send me work, boredom does not suit me well, although beer is a delightful distraction π

Well, a most important update, I've now been running the Alfa for two years now, so what has gone wrong, well nothing, nothing at all, of course I spend more time checking it over and cleaning it, but so far all is well, I've taken it from 13k to 22k miles and it refuses to go all Italian on me, everything works, rejoice. A few dark and moody pics from tonight's beer run π
