Looks like the caliper cover is an earlier NA one, (that plastic window looks unattached, don't let it escape ). Those air caps look interesting, how did they do the schrader valves air passage under the cap screw? I was thinking how to get the air though without weakening the spigot. (another thing I never got round to trying)

The centre stand pivot bolt is solid in the stand so I can’t get it off the frame without cutting it off, the stand swings in the frame instead of the pivot bolt. Do I just leave it on shot blast it all and powder coat? Is that just being rough and lazy 😆

Can't prepare the voids, recesses, or under the side web properly, blast medium cannot reach those surfaces. Once I got the NC's one off, without sawing but the pivot bolt was toast. all voids flooded with Zinga cold galv, including the tubes (4mm hole, at pin-hole perforation, in the bottom plates and syringed in)and the paint touched up, may last 4-8 years now, reckon it would need new in a few years, if left.

if that arms going in the junk it might be worth cutting the rot away to see how far its gone. That would be useful to see. I've thought about running a small earth bonding lead to the swing arm, perhaps under the right bleed nipple, may help long term with the corrosion (assuming a charged battery is fitted).

I'm waiting for the post at the end of the thread "its my last ever full rebuild" - lost count of how many times CTB has said that
